Specaria fraseri Brinkhurst
Recognition
Up to 3 dorsal hair chaetae are present. The dorsal needle chaetae are bifid, number up to 3 and are straighter than the ventral chaetae unlike the other species of the genus. The ventral chaetae on 2 are thicker and longer than those of the next 2 segments and have the upper tooth twice as long as the lower. Eyes are never present in this genus unlike most Nais.
Distribution
It is reported from Vancouver, British Columbia.
