Pristina breviseta Bourne
Recognition
Single dorsal non-serrate hair chaetae are present. Dorsal needles are single with long equal teeth. Dorsal chaetae begin already on the second segment only in this genus and Pristinella jenkinae, which lacks a proboscis. There are no eyes. Coelomocytes are present. Large genital chaetae on segments 7 or 8.
Summary
The length is 10 to 20 mm.
Distribution
It is widespread over much of the world.
